Congratulations on deciding to join DeMolay, the world’s largest youth fraternity! To be a member of DeMolay a young man must:
- Be between the ages of 12 and 21
- Be of good character and reputation
- Have a belief in God, a Supreme Being, or Deity
In order to join, the young man must complete a brief membership application and submit it to your nearest chapter along with the chapter’s one-time membership fee. By filling out the membership application, you’ll be well on your way to leading a successful, happy, and productive life. You’re going to need a parent or guardian’s approval to join DeMolay.
Please note each chapter sets its own lifetime membership fee. When you are contacted about joining, you will be advised about what the local fee is for your chapter.In general, the lifetime membership fee is between $40 and $75. Scholarships are available to cover the cost of the membership fee.
Once your application is received, the chapter will votes on your membership. After being elected to membership, you and your parent or guardian will be asked to attend a two-part induction ceremony.
